The original jazz soundtrack for "Teenie Harris, Photographer: An American Story" was produced by MCG Jazz specifically to accompany the exhibition. Synchronized with the presentation of images in the Crossroads selection of images, it references the evolving "Pittsburgh sound" of the 1930s through the 1970s, the era in which Teenie Harris lived and worked. The score comprises seven tracks: "Teenie Time," "Teenie's Blues," and "Hill Heat" by Jay Ashby; "Cool School," "For Art's Sake," and "Teenie's Lament" by Mike Tomaro; and "A Little Sweetness" by Stanley Turrentine.
